Responsibilities

• Accessions test requests into the Laboratory Information System.
• Communicates with nursing staff, physicians and other departments.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and keeps work area organized.
• Assists in maintaining, restocking supplies and handling specimen packaging per protocol.
