Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) is seeking a Custodial Worker 1 to help maintain clean and safe facilities used by laboratory staff and visitors in Greensburg. This full-time role supports daily upkeep of the PSP Greensburg Regional Laboratory and the Greensburg DNA Laboratory.

Responsibilities include floor care, restroom cleaning, waste removal, surface cleaning, supply management, and outdoor upkeep.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Able to perform essential job functions.
• Must pass background investigation and CJIS compliance.

Responsibilities

• Floor care: sweep, vacuum, mop, buff, and wax floors.
• Restroom cleaning: clean toilets, urinals, sinks, showers; restock supplies.
• Waste removal: empty trash and recycling; outdoor receptacles.
• Surface cleaning: clean windows, dust surfaces, replace bulbs/tiles as needed.
• Supply management: maintain custodial supply levels and care for tools.
• Outdoor upkeep: remove snow/ice; apply salt; keep areas debris-free.
