Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Custodial Worker 1 to support the Pennsylvania State Police Greensburg Regional Laboratory and the Greensburg DNA Laboratory. You will perform floor care, restroom cleaning, waste removal, surface cleaning, supply management and outdoor upkeep to ensure a clean, safe, and functional environment for staff and visitors.

The role requires a valid drivers license, the ability to perform essential job functions, and successful passage of a background check

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid drivers license.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions.
• Must pass a background investigation and meet CJIS compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care: sweep, vacuum, mop, buff, and wax floors.
• Clean restrooms: toilets, urinals, sinks, showers; restock soap, towels, paper products.
• Remove waste: empty trash and recycling; place materials in outdoor receptacles.
• Surface cleaning: clean windows/mirrors; dust surfaces; replace light bulbs/tiles as needed.
• Manage supplies: maintain custodial supplies and care for tools/equipment.
• Outdoor upkeep: remove snow/ice from walkways; apply salt; keep outdoor areas debris-free.
