Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Engineering Technician for a contract position based out of Waukesha, Wisconsin. The role involves setting up and tearing down lab tests, building fixtures and prototypes, and wiring electrical components in accordance with test procedures.

The successful candidate will use hand tools and follow detailed work instructions while supporting test data review and troubleshooting activities in a fully onsite environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to set up and instrument test specimens with attention to detail.
• Proficient use of basic hand tools and measurement devices.
• Ability to read and follow test procedures and work instructions precisely.

Responsibilities

• Set up, instrument, and tear down products undergoing testing in a laboratory environment.
• Build and assemble test fixtures, prototype products, and instrumentation components to support test activities.
• Install, route, crimp, and connect wiring, wire harnesses, and electrical components according to instructions and standards.
• Use basic hand tools to perform mechanical and electrical tasks.
• Read, understand, and follow test procedures and work instructions with accuracy.
• Support troubleshooting by observing tests, reviewing data, and aiding issue resolution.
