Atrium Staffing seeks a Lab Engineering Coordinator for a NYC-based consumer goods client. The role focuses on material ordering and inventory for the Lab and Robot operations, ensuring right materials are available and processes are optimized.

The position expands into robot-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives, requiring hands-on handling of materials, resupply and inventory checks in a fast-paced lab setting.

• Ability to work hands-on with materials and equipment, including repacking, resupply, and inventory checks.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Order and manage materials for the Lab and Robot from other company locations.
• Review SAP tables regularly to verify appropriate resupply quantities are being ordered.
• Restructure and improve internal ordering strategies to reduce unnecessary resupply orders.
• Repack items for compounders as needed.
• Identify and implement processes to reduce expired materials in the lab.
• Support ongoing robot-related projects and process improvements.
• Contribute ideas and solutions as part of a broader continuous improvement initiative.
