Job summary

Madison Core Laboratories is seeking an experienced Dispatcher to coordinate blood draws and specimen collection orders for the Mobile Phlebotomy team. The role requires strong organization, communication, and multitasking in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of dispatching or scheduling experience, proficiency in LIS and MS Office, and a high school diploma. This is an office-based position with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous dispatching or scheduling experience within laboratory services, mobile phlebotomy, healthcare, or a related environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assign blood draws and specimen collection orders to Mobile Phlebotomy team members.
• Review incoming collection requests and confirm orders are assigned correctly and promptly.
• Enter incoming orders and standing orders into the LIS/system.
• Monitor assignments and adjust based on workload, priority, and facility requirements.
• Communicate with Mobile Phlebotomists, client facilities, couriers, and billing to ensure timely collection.
• Coordinate and schedule courier pickups to support timely specimen transportation.
• Maintain accurate records of orders, assignments, and communications.
• Collaborate with Mobile Phlebotomy, laboratory, billing, courier, and other internal teams.
