Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lab Supervisor to oversee operations in Immunology, Chemistry, and Hematology. The ideal candidate will ensure quality control, perform calibrations, manage maintenance, and uphold laboratory standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and compliance with New York State certification requirements. Experience with Roche laboratory equipment is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily laboratory operations across Immunology, Chemistry, and Hematology.
• Conduct quality control (QC) procedures and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Perform instrument calibrations and oversee routine maintenance.
• Develop and implement quality control protocols to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
• Train and mentor laboratory personnel, ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Maintain laboratory records, reports, and documentation in accordance with state regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize workflow and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement corrective actions.
• Operate and maintain Roche laboratory equipment, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with manufacturer guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills:

• New York State Certification as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Strong knowledge of QC procedures, calibrations, and laboratory maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with Roche laboratory equipment and familiarity with its operational protocols.
