Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in analytical chemistry, toxicology, pharmaceutical science, veterinary science, forensic chemistry, or related field.
• Deep expertise in analytical chemistry and equine drug testing.
• Active AORC Professional or Fellow membership.
• Laboratory leadership, client-facing, and negotiation capabilities.
• Expert witness and public-speaking expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead department strategy, personnel, training, and laboratory operations.
• Direct method development, validation, technical review, and result authorization.
• Ensure ISO/IEC 17025, HEAL, contractual, and regulatory compliance.
• Guide client relationships, proposals, bids, and growth initiatives.
• Present scientific findings and provide expert testimony.
