Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Lab Development Engineer to design, implement, and publish hands-on training labs that support the Curriculum Development team.

You will work with AWS services, CI/CD pipelines, and automation to deliver scalable lab experiences for learners globally. You will partner with Curriculum Developers to craft high-quality labs, review code for reliability, and monitor lab health with dashboards and automated tests.

Qualifications

• Microsoft Office proficiency required.
• Experience designing and developing IT or technical training materials.
• Experience in Learning & Development and course facilitation.
• Experience in a training role, including technical training.
• Experience troubleshooting material handling equipment and maintenance procedures.
• Experience repairing material handling equipment and automated systems.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain automated lab publishing processes used by Curriculum Developers and cross-functional teams.
• Identify automation opportunities for curriculum publication and lab monitoring; implement using programming languages and AWS technologies.
• Design and develop new labs based on requirements; partner with Curriculum Developers to ensure content quality.
• Assist in design, implementation, and review of lab code for reliability and scalability.
• Coordinate and perform testing of new labs prior to release.
• Provide front-line support for training courses and rapid issue resolution.
• Gather data from instructors and students; respond to lab issues and usability feedback.
• Design and implement systems for measuring and improving lab quality, such as dashboards and automated testing.
