Sterling Labs in Des Plaines, IL is seeking a Courier to ensure timely and secure transport of laboratory samples between collection sites and our laboratory branches. You will maintain chain-of-custody, document pickups, and deliver exceptional service in a regulated environment.

The role requires a valid driver's license, strong time management, and attention to detail. You will use a handheld device for daily pickups and navigate varying traffic conditions while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent time management and punctuality.
• Attention to detail in handling and documenting samples.
• Basic customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow route instructions and adapt to conditions.

Responsibilities

• Load all necessary supplies for daily pickups.
• Complete daily pickup schedule promptly.
• Deliver all daily picks to branches at the end of your shift.
• Handle lab samples safely and in compliance.
• Operate company vehicle and follow traffic laws.
• Use handheld device to manage pickups.
• Evaluate traffic patterns and weather conditions.
• Provide professional service to clients and staff.
• Identify and resolve delays in pickups or deliveries.
