Job summary

The University of Arizona is seeking a Lab Coordinator I for the NAIADEL Lab in the Psychology Department on the Tucson Campus. You will support launch, growth, and day-to-day operations, including study coordination, IRB materials, onboarding, purchasing, scheduling, and team communication.

Responsibilities include coordinating online/in-person studies, participant recruitment, data quality monitoring, and reproducible data organization, with opportunities for involvement in analysis,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1 year of relevant work experience in a research setting.
• Interest in mathematical and cognitive psychology.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate online and in-person studies from preparation through data collection.
• Recruit, screen, schedule, and communicate with participants.
• Maintain IRB protocols, amendments, continuing reviews, and approved study documents.
• Build and maintain standard operating procedures, onboarding materials, study trackers, project documentation, and shared lab resources.
• Coordinate laboratory calendars, meetings, deadlines, action items, and follow-up.
• Maintain organized data, code, documentation, and access-control structures.

Education

Bachelor's degree

1 year of relevant research experience

Interest in mathematical & cognitive psychology

Python/R/ MATLAB/ JavaScript basics
