Job summary

The Lab Coordinator at Wesleyan University supports the Cognitive Development Lab and the Reasoning and Decision Making Lab. This full-time, on-campus role is funded for one year with potential extension and contributes to NSF-funded numerical cognition research and general lab duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Cognitive Science, or related field.
• Prior research experience in psychological science.
• General computer skills and statistical software experience (such as Microsoft Excel, SPSS, R, Qualtrics).
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee undergraduate research assistants, including study development and data management.
• Recruiting and scheduling participants.
• Maintaining a participant family database.
• Coordinate relationships with local collaboration sites such as children's museums.
• Data management and analysis.
• Implement online and in-person studies and IRB submissions.
• Run participants through studies and support research group culture.
• Conduct literature searches and assist with conference abstracts and manuscripts.
