Job summary

CompuNet Core Lab in Moraine, OH is seeking a Client Service Representative for a full-time day shift. You will respond to client inquiries, report results, and coordinate referrals with courteous service.

The role includes handling STAT and routine specimen requests, documenting calls, and maintaining accurate records across dispatch and Sunquest/QLS systems.

You will work weekend and holiday rotation with a 15% shift differential for weekend shifts, delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent telephone communication and customer service skills.
• Data entry skills required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience and/or education in health care field, medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Answer and document telephone calls, handle requests for results and information, direct calls to the proper department or individual, take complete messages, respond to each request for service in a timely manner.
• Report critical values to all market segments in compliance with regulatory requirements within the required timeframes.
• Receive calls for STAT and ROUTINE specimen pickup and log in dispatch system.
• Handle client questions and concerns courteously and document in the appropriate system.
• Perform department duties as outlined in the department procedure manual.
• Document potential privacy breaches and quality/service variances per procedure.
• Assist with archived audit trail reports using Optimaxx as needed.
• Accept client requests for laboratory testing or supplies and forward appropriately.
