Job summary

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, instrument upkeep, and developing automation solutions to improve workflows, with collaboration across lab, QA, and engineering teams. An engineering or related degree with 1+ years of experience is preferred, along with proficiency in Excel and calibration

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• 1+ years of experience in lab equipment maintenance, instrumentation, automation, or calibration.
• Experience calibrating lab instruments and maintaining calibration documentation.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine calibration of laboratory and manufacturing instruments.
• Develop and maintain automation solutions to improve efficiency.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot automated equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs with vendors.
• Investigate failures, identify root causes, and implement actions.
• Maintain calibration and service records per quality systems.
• Collaborate with lab, manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams.
• Assist in evaluating and implementing new equipment and automation technologies.
• Develop and update SOPs, work instructions, and equipment documentation.
• Provide training on operation and basic troubleshooting.
