Job summary

Ethos Veterinary Health is looking for a Lab Attendant, Veterinary in Woburn, MA. This full-time position offers three 9-hour shifts per week, including one weekend shift, with daytime and evening options.

The role entails processing lab samples, preparing specimens for testing, and maintaining quality control. Compensation ranges from $19.00 to $24.00 per hour based on experience, with a comprehensive benefits package for full-time staff.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a professional work environment.
  • One to two years of experience in a clinical or veterinary setting preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent English speaking and reading skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process laboratory samples while accurately entering results into the hospital information system.
  • Prepare specimens for external and specialty laboratory testing, including completing submission forms, packaging, and shipping.
  • Perform routine quality control testing and scheduled maintenance on laboratory equipment.
  • Accurately complete laboratory logbooks, including shipping and temperature logs.
  • Unpack, organize, and restock laboratory supplies.
  • Communicate laboratory results and updates with veterinary teams throughout the hospital.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient laboratory environment.
  • Support high-quality patient care through accurate, timely laboratory processing.

Location: Woburn, MA
