Job summary

Kids for the Future in Golden Valley is seeking a Lab Assistant for our Urgency Room to perform lab testing and phlebotomy. This temporary 0.9 FTE role supports patient care with a home site in Golden Valley and potential shifts at Vadnais Heights, Eagan, or Woodbury.

Phlebotomy experience is required; shifts are 10 hours (10 am–8 pm), start October 13 and run through February 28, 2027, with free on-site parking and ongoing education opportunities.

• Related lab experience or completion of a phlebotomy training program.

Job description

• Base Pay $27.07 - $28.88 / Hour

We provide a professional yet fun work environment while providing a comforting and pleasant experience for our patients and guests. Lab Assistants in our Urgency Rooms do a wide variety of lab testing as well as phlebotomy. Phlebotomy experience is required for this role.

This position is for a temporary, .9 FTE lab assistant with a home site in our Golden Valley Urgency Room. This temporary position is slated to start October 13th and run through February 28th, 2027. There may be the possibility of additional hours beyond that point in time but an extension will be decided by Urgency Room leadership based on need. All shifts are 10 hours, 10 am - 8 pm and will be a mixture of weekdays and every other weekend. The homebase for this role will be Golden Valley, but there may be occasional potential for shifts at our other locations in Vadnais Heights, Eagan, or Woodbury.
