Job summary

Labcorp in Dublin, OH is seeking a Lab Assistant to join our team. This role supports clinical labs by receiving and sorting specimens and preparing them for testing.

You will follow SOPs, perform data entry, maintain equipment, and help keep the work area safe and organized.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred 3 months of specimen processing or lab experience, and a Tuesday-Saturday schedule 9:00am to 5:30pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Receive and sort clinical lab specimens
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
• Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information
• Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance
• Troubleshoot any specimen related issues
• Replenish test bench supplies as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standards
