Job summary

Labcorp in Dublin, OH is seeking a Lab Assistant to join our team. Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00am-5:30pm, to receive and prepare clinical lab specimens for testing in a fast-paced setting.

You will maintain accurate records, support data entry, and help ensure safety and quality across the lab while collaborating with a team of professionals.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 3 months or more of specimen processing experience preferred.
  • 3 months or more of medical or laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and sort clinical lab specimens
  • Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
  • Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information
  • Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance
  • Troubleshoot any specimen related issues
  • Replenish test bench supplies as needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standards

Labcorp is seeking a Lab Assistant to join our team in Dublin, OH.

Work Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00am-5:30pm

Job Responsibilities
  • Receive and sort clinical lab specimens
  • Prepare specimens for testing and analysis

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 3 months or more of medical or laboratory experience

  • Comfortability with handling biological specimens
  • Ability to accurately identify specimens
  • Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • High level of attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment and meet established turn‑around times
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position
  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
  • Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs
Pay Range
  • $17.75 - $18.50

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

  • Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO
