Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Lab Assistant to join our Seattle team on the 3rd shift. You will receive and sort clinical lab specimens, prepare them for testing, and perform data entry while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months of experience in the healthcare industry or in an assembly/production environment.
• 6 months of medical/clinical laboratory experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive and sort clinical lab specimens
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
• Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information
• Ensure all lab equipment is working and perform minor maintenance
• Troubleshoot specimen related issues
• Replenish test bench supplies as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Complete record logs and other administrative duties
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standards
