Job summary

LabCorp is seeking a dedicated Data Entry/Specimen Accessioner to join the Specimen Processing and Accessioning team in Seattle, WA. The role involves preparing and labeling specimens and entering patient data in a fast-paced environment according to SOPs.

The position requires a High School Diploma, strong data entry and organizational skills, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Working nights, Monday–Friday, with competitive benefits and union support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• No rel­ative experience required; 1–2 years preferred.
• Previous medical or production experience is a plus.
• Comfortable handling biological specimens and lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Strong data entry and organizational skills; ability to pass color tests.
• Rotate weekends when necessary and work in a team environment.

LabCorp is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join their Specimen Processing and Accessioning team in Seattle, WA. The Data Entry/Specimen Accessioner will be responsible for performing clinical specimen accessioning, sample sorting and data entry in a fast‑paced, high‑throughput environment according to established standard operating procedures.

Pay and Schedule

Pay Range: $20.07 - $28.52, plus $2.50 3rd Shift differential.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 10:00pm – 6:30am.
Work Location: Seattle, WA.

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience and the terms of the collective bargaining agreement between Dynacare Northwest, Inc. and United Food and Commercial Workers Union, Local 21. Regular, full‑time or part‑time employees working 24 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k) and up to 18 days of Annual Leave per year (includes 8 holidays) and Sick Leave (0.0333 hours of sick leave for each hour of work).

• No relative experience required; 1-2 years preferred
• Previous medical or production experience is a plus
• Comfortable handling biological specimens
• Ability to accurately identify specimens
• Experience working in a team environment
• Strong data entry and organizational skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Proficient in MS Office
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs
• Ability to pass a standardized color blind test
• Rotate weekends when necessary
