Job summary

Clover Consulting seeks a Laboratory Assistant for a Grand Rapids, MI on-site contract (6 months–3 years). 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri, 7:30am–4pm, at $22/hr W2.

Responsibilities include glassware washing, stocking supplies, disposing of chemical waste, quality-control tasks, and logging samples into QA systems. Candidates must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to communicate well with chemistry lab staff.

Clover Consulting has a direct client in Grand Rapids, MI in need of a Laboratory Assistant for a contract for 6 months- 3 years. This is an on-site role.

Position Details

• Role: Laboratory Assistant
• Term: 6 months-3 years contract
• Location: Grand Rapids, MI - On-Site
• Rate: $22/hr W2
• Monday-Friday 40hrs. 7:30am-4pm

What is special about this role:

As an onsite laboratory assistant, this role’s primary responsibility is to conduct lab glassware washing, stock lab supplies, dispose of chemical waste, and maintain overall chemical quality control cleanliness. Other responsibilities include login of samples into QA systems. Applicant should be detail-oriented, able to identify work needed, and organized to ensure compliance and safety. This role communicates regularly with chemistry lab scientists, so good communication, professionalism, and kindness are a must.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Glassware, pipette, and lab equipment dishwashing
• Stocking glassware and lab supplies
• Remove and dispose of expired reagents
• Stocking kitchenette food and drink supplies
• Lab bench and equipment cleaning
• Login of finished products into controlled inventory system
