Job summary

Myticas Consulting is seeking a Lab Tech-Micro - Laboratory Testing in Grand Rapids, MI for an entry level Micro Lab Technician. This on-site role supports testing and release of materials within the Quality Control Unit and is a 6‑month W2 contract with potential extension.

Duties include cleaning, record keeping, media preparation, equipment calibration, and occasional weekend work. Candidates should have 2 years of science coursework and the ability to follow SOPs; GMP microbiology experience

Job description

Lab Tech-Micro - Laboratory Testing

Contract: W2 – Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a W2 basis.

Duration: 6 months with possible multi-year extension/s.

Pay: $20-22 per hour on W2.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 40hrs, 8-5pm, On-Site.

Location: Grand Rapids, MI; Considering local candidates only.

Micro Lab Technician: Laboratory Testing. This is an entry level position for a Microbiology Lab Technician, which operates under the Quality Control Unit. In this role you will be supporting testing and release of raw materials, finished consumer goods, and/or environmental samples.

This first shift position will work as part of a cohesive laboratory team which often uses a rotational schedule to keep the work interesting and to ensure workload is covered. You will be trained on multiple techniques within the micro laboratory and will be kept up-to-date with team meetings. Daily duties may include cleaning, record keeping, media preparation, and calibration of equipment. Once trained, occasional weekend work may be required.
