Job summary

ESCAMBIA COUNTY HEALTH CARE AUTHORITY seeks a Lab Assistant - PRN and FT for D.W. McMillian Memorial Hospital in Alabama. The role includes drawing blood from patients of all ages, data entry into the computer, and being on your feet for long shifts.

This is a full-time position (60 to 80 hours per pay period) with varied shifts, including nights or weekends as needed. PRN as-needed available. Position Type: On Call; Shift: Other.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Graduate of phlebotomy program or one year phlebotomy experience required.

(1) Full-time position 60 to 80 per pay period

Varied shifts with flexibility to work nights or weekends as needed.

PRN (as-needed)

Every other weekend 6:00am to 6:30pm

Duties/skills

• Will use computer for input and receiving patient information.
