Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayetteville, GA is seeking a phlebotomy technician for weekend night shifts with a sign-on bonus. The role performs sample processing, venipunctures, and receives specimens in line with CMS/CLIA and Piedmont policies.

No experience is required, though 1 year of phlebotomy experience and EKG skills are preferred. CPT phlebotomy certification is preferred for eligibility.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• No experience required; 1 year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Experience performing EKGs preferred.
• Phlebotomy CPT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Performs sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests in accordance with CMS (CLIA '88), OSHA and other applicable regulatory, established standards as may be applicable. Performs venipunctures at entities where applicable, and obtains/prepares blood specimens in accordance with Piedmont policies and procedures. Assists technical staff in non-clinical tasks.

Work Experience
