Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayetteville, GA is hiring a Phlebotomist to perform venipuncture and specimen processing according to CMS and Piedmont policies. The role supports regulatory compliance and patient care within a hospital lab setting.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and Phlebotomy certification is preferred; experience with EKGs and healthcare labs is also desirable. Sign-on bonus is available, with day-to-evening shifts and weekend rotation as listed.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Experience in venipuncture or EKG preferred.
• Healthcare or clinical laboratory setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests in accordance with CMS (CLIA '88), OSHA and other applicable regulatory standards.
• Performs venipunctures at applicable entities and prepares blood specimens per Piedmont policies.
• Assists technical staff in non-clinical tasks.

Work Experience

• 1 year of experience as a phlebotomist Preferred
