You will receive and process samples, prepare them for send‑outs, distribute in‑house specimens to the testing benches, and support clerical duties such as data entry and telephone reception.

The Laboratory Assistant/Phlebotomist is responsible for providing skilled specimen collection via venipuncture and capillary sticks while providing exceptional customer service as the face of the laboratory. They are responsible for receiving and processing samples as well as packaging samples for send‑outs. They distribute samples tested in‑house to different testing benches. The Laboratory Assistant/Phlebotomist is also responsible for carrying out clerical tasks including, but not limited to, computer data entry, telephone reception, and other general lab duties.
Minimum $23.00 | Midpoint $29.64 | Maximum $36.28. Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
Light to Moderate energy level. Lift and carry 25-35 lbs. Push/pull 50-100 lbs. (ie. empty bed, stretcher).
Lifting (Floor to waist level) - Occasional 0-35%, Lifting (Waist level and above) - Occasional 0-35%.
