They are responsible for receiving and processing samples as well as packaging samples for send-outs. They distribute samples tested in-house to different testing benches. The Laboratory Assistant/Phlebotomist is also responsible for carrying out clerical tasks including, but not limited to, computer data entry, telephone reception, and other general lab duties.**Pay Range**Minimum $21.98 Midpoint $29.13 Maximum $36.28*Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.***Experience**• Required: Minimum one (1) year phlebotomy experience.• Preferred: One (1) or more years of infant/pediatric blood collection experience.**Education**• Required: High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent. Graduation from Phlebotomist Tech training program• Preferred: Completion of some college level courses.**Specialized Skills**• Required: Strong verbal and written communication skills; strong critical thinking, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
