Job summary

Emanate Health in California is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform venipunctures on adults and pediatrics, assist with specimen processing, and resolve client concerns under supervision of the Laboratory Services leadership.

The role requires a California CPT certificate, BLS, and strong English communication. You will participate in data entry, prepare specimens, and ensure quality service while rotating weekends in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques and medical/laboratory terminology.
• Two year acute care hospital laboratory experience preferred.
• One to two (1-2) years experience assisting in performing laboratory assays preferred.
• Ability to operate computer input terminal.
• Ability to perform phlebotomy techniques including special procedures such as blood cultures, finger and heel sticks.
• Communication skills to include fluent English.
• Typing and word processing skills required.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Minimum License Requirement: Current California CPT certificate.
• BLS required.
• must work every other weekend.
