Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Lab Assistant to join the team in Raritan, NJ. The role involves receiving and sorting clinical lab specimens, preparing samples for testing, and ensuring proper data entry and record keeping.

The position requires a high school diploma and familiarity with basic computer data entry. Preferred candidates have 3+ months of specimen processing and laboratory experience, can handle biological specimens, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment with

Responsibilities

• Receive and sort clinical lab specimens
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis

• Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance
• Troubleshoot any specimen related issues
• Replenish test bench supplies as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standards

Labcorp is seeking a Lab Assistant to join our team in Raritan, NJ.

Work Schedule: Wednesday - Sunday, 12:00 AM - 8:30 AM

Job Responsibilities

• Receive and sort clinical lab specimens
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
• Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information

Minimum Qualifications

Pay Range: $17.75-$20/hr. + Shift Differential

All job offers will bebased on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicabledegrees/certifications,as well as internal equity and market data.

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
