Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Royal Oak, MI, seeks a Lab Assistant I to support laboratory operations on a 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM schedule, Monday through Friday, with rotational weekend duties.

You will assist the lab team with sample accessioning, reagent handling, and basic waived tests under supervision, contributing to accurate diagnostic information for patients.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.

Responsabilidades

• Provides a wide variety of support for assigned lab department.
• Picks up samples from accessioning and sorts samples into appropriate racks.
• Answers phone and directs calls appropriately.
• Unpacks and stores reagents and supplies.
• Inventories and orders warehouse supply items.
• Sorts samples and distributes them to the appropriate setup hood.
• Manages specimen library within established time frames.
• Performs waived tests under supervision.
• All other duties as assigned.
