Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in a hospital Laboratory 3-5 years preferred; Internship or equivalent 0-1 year required.

Responsibilities

• Verify correct specimen and labeling requirements for test orders.
• Register and label tubes correctly.
• Centrifuge and aliquot specimens per policy.
• Sort, store, and deliver specimens per requirements.
• Resolve specimen problems with technologists and client services.
• Answer telephones and provide assistance as needed.
