CommonSpirit Health is looking for a Lab Assistant in Little Falls, Minnesota. In this role, you will help solve diagnostic mysteries and prepare patient specimens for testing.

The position requires a high school diploma, Basic Life Support certification, and offers two pay range options: $19.53 - $25.51 per hour. If you have a certification from a Lab Assistant Program or experience in an acute care facility, it is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association within 90 days of start date.
• Preferred certification from Lab Assistant Program or experience in an acute care facility.

Responsibilities

• Practice positive patient identification at all times.
• Maintain good communication with department and co-workers.
• Assist in maintaining department workflow and efficiency.
• Organize specimens efficiently for lab testing.
• Handle Laboratory Send-out testing according to procedures.
• Use good judgment in problem-solving.
