Under the supervision of the Director of MMA and office manager, performs specimen collection and processing, clerical tasks, point of care testing, and other laboratory support staff duties as assigned. The position reports to the Clinic Director through the MMA. The Lab Assistant also maintains cooperative working relationships with intradepartmental and interdepartmental personnel.
Minimum Education
High School diploma required. Current enrollment or completed degree in science/healthcare course study preferred.
Required Licenses
Phlebotomist
Certified phlebotomy certification required
Minimum Work Experience
Phlebotomy experience strongly preferred.
