UK King’s Daughters is seeking a Laboratory Assistant/Phlebotomy Technician to support registration, accessioning, order entry in LIS, and phlebotomy across clinical settings. Responsible for supporting laboratory operations by performing accurate patient registration, specimen accessioning, and order entry in laboratory information systems. Conducts phlebotomy, specimen processing, and waived testing procedures while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborates with clinicians and laboratory staff to clarify orders, resolve issues, and maintain efficient workflow. Provides excellent customer service, educates patients as needed, and maintains detailed documentation. Ensures timely and accurate handling of specimens to support patient care across diverse clinical settings.
High school diploma or equivalent experience
0-1 years of experience in a healthcare, clinical setting, or a relevant area. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part‑time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
