Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a Glassware Technician to support daily lab operations in a regulated environment. You will wash, inspect, restock, and inventory glassware while maintaining clean work areas and equipment. You will also respond to requests, support campus deliveries, and uphold GMP and 5S standards.

The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to SOPs, with training provided for safety and documentation tasks. This is a full-time on-site position in a laboratory setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational qualification is a plus.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Must be able to lift 15–40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Experience in a GMP/regulated lab environment is preferred.

Job description

• Supports daily laboratory operations by ensuring clean, inspected, and properly stocked glassware is available
• Performs glassware collection, washing, drying, inspection, restocking, and inventory activities in a regulated clinical/GMP environment
• Maintains glassware washing equipment and organized work areas
• Responds to laboratory requests and supports deliveries across campus
• Performs Glassware Washing functions and a variety of standard and daily departmental tasks
• Fulfills lab requests for glassware via email/RAM requests
• Restocks lab cabinets with washed and inspected glassware
• Maintains glass wash units for proper functionality
• Maintains 5S within glass wash rooms
• Assists with monthly glassware inventory
• Provides daily metrics and required departmental statistics
• Delivers and picks up glassware across campus when required
• Performs assignments accurately, timely, and safely according to SOPs, quality standards, and laboratory policies

Requirements

• High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
• Technical positions may require a certificate
• Previous experience providing the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 1 year) or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, including a drug screening
• Ability to follow laboratory safety procedures
