A contemporary drug discovery company is seeking an Animal Care Technician to ensure the welfare of animals in a production facility. Responsibilities include caring for animals, maintaining sanitation, and keeping accurate records. Qualifications

• Desire to work with and care for animals on a daily basis.
• Interest in animal development.
• Continuous effort toward contributing to a clean and safe working environment.
• Ability and willingness to complete paperwork as needed.
• Availability to work weekends/holidays on a rotating basis.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Cares for animals including feeding, cleaning, and breeding responsibilities.
• Cleaning/power washing and sanitation of facility.
• Follows protocol to ensure health and welfare of the animals.
• Coordinates order details including selection, packaging, and confirming accuracy.
• Keeps accurate records of animal breeding, feeding, and care.
• Maintains responsibility for sanitation of animal buildings and cages.
