Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare for animal arrivals and set up cages and sippers.
• Archive non-study and facility data, logs, and forms.
• Assist animal care staff with clerical duties and documentation.
• Prepare simple lab solutions (buffers, media, cleaners).
• Monitor inventory of PPE stations and hazardous waste boxes.
• Operate basic lab equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Comply with GLP and SOPs in all tasks.
• Perform basic husbandry tasks (liner changes, cage setup).
• Submit work orders for equipment or facility issues.
• Prep autoclave cages and sterilize glassware as needed.
• Perform pest control checks and document per SOP.
• Receive and document feed and bedding shipments.
• Perform weekly eye wash checks and document results.
• Assist in breakdown and setup of study rooms.
• Clean and sanitize hallways and labs.
• Conduct weekly census of animals.
• Ensure all logs and forms are complete.
• Collaborate with Animal Care and In-Life staff.
• Carry out other related duties as assigned.
