JOB SUMMARY
JOB SUMMARY
Provide organization and oversight of the nursing sim lab (NSL) and nursing teaching labs (NTL) by facilitating schedules for all student activity in the NSL and NTL as well as maintaining the equipment and technology. The focus of this position is to serve as a collaborative member of the nursing team. This individual will also manage the ATI testing pool of proctored exams. Some weekends and evenings may be required based on the lab and simulation schedule. This is a 12-month salaried, exempt position.

Reports to: Chief Nurse Administrator/ Lab Manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES - May include, but is not limited to the following:
- Provide organization and oversight of the nursing sim lab (NSL) and nursing teaching labs (NTL)
- Facilitate schedules for all student activity in the NSL and NTL
- Maintain the equipment and technology
- Collaborate with nursing faculty
- Manage the ATI testing pool of proctored exams
ADDITIONAL/NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES
All remaining duties are considered "nonessential" within the context of the ADA, which means that the function could be reassigned to another employee in order to allow a disabled individual to hold the position. Alternatively, the manager could try to provide a reasonable accommodation so that the disabled individual could perform the function.

Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Preferred Education:
Master's degree in Nursing
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
Required: Active State of Florida RN license

EXPERIENCE
Successful professional experience of at least three (3) years in bedside nursing.

- Knowledge of nursing procedures and processes
- Personal commitment to teach in a Christian university and be in agreement with the mission of Southeastern University

- Able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.

TRAINING
All New Hires And Employees Transferring Into a New Position Will Have a 90-day Probationary Period Within Which To Learn The Functions Of The Job And To Be Evaluated. Following The Probationary Period, The Employee Can Transition To Regular Status, Have The Probationary Period Extended In Order To Receive More Training, Or Employment Can Be Terminated. Required Compliance Training Is As Follows:

SCREENING
All full-time positions at SEU are deemed security-sensitive and require background checks. Employees required to drive their own personal vehicle, a rental car or an SEU vehicle in performance of their duties must pass an MVR records check and meet the requirements of the University’s insurance carrier in order to meet the requirements of the position.
