Job summary

Precision Diagnostics in San Diego, CA is seeking an Aliquoter to gain hands-on experience in a state-of-the-art clinical laboratory. This entry-level position plays a critical role in the testing process by extracting precise amounts from specimens and maintaining strict safety and SOP adherence.

The Aliquoter will prepare aliquots of oral fluid and urine, follow PPE requirements, and assist with inventory, troubleshooting, and paperwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; college coursework in a natural science is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced lab.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare aliquots of oral fluid and urine specimens prior to testing.
• Identify and categorize special handling specimens.
• Set up workstation to minimize contamination and follow PPE requirements.
• Dispose of bio-hazardous material properly and follow SOPs.
• Assist with specimen inventory, troubleshooting, and decontamination.
• Scan and organize paperwork and support other duties as delegated.
