Job summary

gobravvo is seeking a Project Controls Analyst in Los Angeles, CA to lead cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for major capital construction programs. The role emphasizes collaboration with PMO and leadership to ensure financial integrity and adherence to project controls standards.

You will use Proliance, Deltek Costpoint, and advanced Excel to track expenditures, monitor performance, and provide timely insights for decision-making.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of project controls or construction cost management experience.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for large capital projects.
• Strong knowledge of EVMS, schedule integration, and change management.
• Experience presenting data to leadership teams.
• Bachelor's degree required; substitution by experience considered.
• Proficiency with Proliance and Deltek Costpoint is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project budgets and financial forecasts in alignment with cost management procedures.
• Monitor budget performance and support month-end reporting and health of finances.
• Participate in EAC reviews and variance analysis with PMO teams.
• Allocate ETCs, support change orders, and maintain cost coding accuracy.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of budgets and project costs.
• Generate detailed financial reports using Proliance, Costpoint, and Excel.
• Assist with staffing analysis and cost efficiency initiatives.
• Contribute to risk assessment meetings and proactive mitigation planning.
• Assist with contract amendments, requisitions, change orders, and closeouts.
• Maintain project control documentation and reporting standards.
