Software Placement Group in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a mid to senior-level Employment Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Labor & Employment Litigation Practice in Los Angeles. The role focuses on handling complex California wage & hour class action claims and PAGA matters for employers in high-stakes litigation.

You will draft and respond to discovery requests and pleadings, argue motions in state and federal courts, take depositions, and advise clients on compliance and risk management

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active California Bar license in good standing.
• 3+ years of substantive employment litigation experience.
• Experience handling California wage-and-hour class actions and PAGA matters.
• Skilled in drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings.
• Experience drafting and arguing motions, and taking/defending depositions.
• Strong writing, analytical, and research skills; able to manage multiple workstreams.
• Self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively; strong communication and organization.

The role involves handling complex California wage & hour class action claims and PAGA matters, representing employers in high-stakes litigation, and advising on compliance and risk management strategies.

What you'll do

Compensation and benefits

• Annual base salary expected to range from $210,000 – $270,000, based on experience, qualifications, and market factors
