Job summary

PERG online is seeking a dedicated groundskeeper to maintain the hotel exterior and ensure a high standard of appearance. The role requires independent work, strong safety practices, and a proactive approach to maintaining outdoor areas.

Responsibilities include operating outdoor equipment, managing work orders, and coordinating with hotel teams to ensure clean, safe, and welcoming grounds at all times.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a groundskeeper preferred.
• Ability to assist all guests with a friendly and outgoing demeanor.
• Ability to prioritize and self-manage assigned work.
• Excellent organization, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage workload in a dynamic environment.
• Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects of moderate to heavy weight without assistance.
• Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
• Responds quickly to sounds; navigate uneven terrain; identify dangerous situations.
• Safely climb ladders while carrying moderate to heavy weight; wear PPE as required.

Overview

This team memberis responsible for ensuring the hotel property is well maintained and reflects an image of outstanding quality. This individual is self motivated and has the ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all outdoor hotel property (i.e. sidewalk, drives, parking lot)
• Keep the hotel property in good condition.
• Have a thorough understanding of Omni fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.
• Open and close work requests.
• Use moderate to heavy equipment to complete duties as assigned, i.e. leaf blower, power washer, etc.
• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions; complete safety training and certifications.
• Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure clean uniform and professional personal appearance; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets
