Job summary

Action Property Management is seeking a dynamic General Manager for a luxury high-rise at The Perla in Los Angeles. You will oversee daily operations, lead on-site teams, and build strong relationships with homeowners and the Board while upholding our standards of service excellence.

Responsibilities include budgeting, vendor oversight, and strategic planning to enhance property value and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of property management experience; HOA high rise experience preferred.
• CMCA certification preferred or the ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Ability to attend evening Board meetings as needed.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in property management software and MS Office.
• Knowledge of budgeting, audits, reserve studies, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop on-site staff to foster a collaborative, high-performing environment.
• Ensure team adherence to policies, procedures, and performance standards.
• Serve as liaison between Board, homeowners and Action Property Management.
• Attend Board meetings, prepare detailed reports and present strategic recommendations.
• Oversee daily operations to maintain high property quality, safety and service.
• Develop and manage annual budgets and monitor financial performance.
• Negotiate, oversee and evaluate vendor contracts for quality and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, federal regulations and company policies.
• Promote community engagement through events and homeowner outreach.
• Drive long-term strategic planning and identify opportunities for improvement.
