Qualifications

JD required; must be licensed to practice in California
Strong academic credentials and excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
Experience drafting and responding to pleadings, motions, and written discovery
Experience conducting legal research, preparing case strategy, and communicating directly with clients
Experience taking and defending depositions preferred
Experience preparing for mediations, arbitrations, and court hearings preferred
Federal or state judicial clerkship experience is a plus
Trial experience preferred but not required
Large law firm experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Handle complex commercial litigation matters.
Manage a diverse litigation caseload.
Work with attorneys across the firm's Litigation Department.
Engage in matters including banking & finance, real estate & construction, insurance, business torts, and class actions.
Provide meaningful client interaction and substantial responsibility.
