Landmark PM in Pasadena, CA seeks a Project Manager to lead preconstruction and construction management on landmark projects. You will manage schedules, budgets, and contracts while coordinating with owners, vendors, and the project team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 4+ years of project management experience in commercial construction.
• Experience in our target market: cultural, civic, institutional, educational, or mission-driven projects preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office including Project and Excel; experience with Procore and Bluebeam.
• Based in greater Los Angeles, with a valid driver's license and willingness to visit project sites throughout greater Los Angeles.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of preconstruction and construction management on behalf of the owner, keeping the project on schedule and on budget.
• Organize, attend, and lead project meetings, prepare agendas, and document minutes; follow up on action items.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets; issue monthly cost and schedule reporting to clients.
• Process financials, contracts, changes orders, and maintain accurate project records; review and track invoices and contracts.
• Solicit vendor/contractor interest, issue RFPs, bid, and negotiate contracts for required vendors/contractors.
• Process RFIs, Submittals, Change Orders, and other project documentation during construction.
• Track and maintain project information and records; ensure documentation is organized and accessible.
• Read drawings and specifications; provide substantive technical review.
• Participate in site visits to monitor progress and assist with site tasks.
• Provide general operational and project support to the firm and projects.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
