Permanent Placements LLC is assisting a respected national law firm in Los Angeles to hire a Business Litigation Associate. The role requires 4-8 years of business and/or financial services litigation experience and bar in California. You will work directly with clients, mentor junior staff, and handle complex matters.

Candidates must have J.D. from an accredited law school, California Bar in good standing, and be able to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active California Bar membership in good standing.
• 4–8 years of business litigation and/or financial services litigation experience.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle all phases of complex business and financial services litigation.
• Draft and argue substantive motions.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery materials.
• Develop and implement litigation and case-management strategies.
• Manage discovery and document review processes.
• Participate in court appearances, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Collaborate with clients and litigation teams to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Deliver high-quality legal work under demanding timelines.
