Position Overview

Our client, a highly regarded California-based law firm, is seeking a Litigation Associate with 5-7 years of experience in business and commercial litigation to join its litigation practice in California.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigator who enjoys handling sophisticated business disputes and taking on meaningful responsibility in all phases of litigation. The ideal candidate will possess strong advocacy, writing, and case management skills, along with a collaborative, team-oriented approach to client service.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, correspondence, and other litigation-related documents.
• Respond to and manage written discovery requests and responses.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Participate in oral arguments and court appearances.
• Assist with trial and arbitration preparation, including strategy development and case organization.
• Manage litigation matters effectively while maintaining attention to deadlines and client objectives.
• Collaborate closely with partners, attorneys, and support staff on complex business and commercial disputes.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of California and in good standing.
• 5-7 years of experience in business and commercial litigation.

Compensation

Base Salary: $325,000 - $365,000 annually
