Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 3 years of combined education/experience.
• Doctorate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists principal investigator with research objectives and supports planning and scheduling activities.
• Develops and implements operating policies, procedures and systems; ensures documentation and communication.
• Manages project budgets; authorizes expenditures and prepares financial reports; oversees purchasing.
• Develops and administers project-focused training; assesses trainee proficiency.
• Identifies funding sources; drafts proposals; interfaces with funding agencies.
• Plans and implements public relations strategies; prepares press materials and coordinates events.
• Links project operations with other administrative and research functions; resolves inquiries.
• Keeps abreast of developments; maintains professional networks and follows related research.
