Job summary

Turtle Trax S.A. is seeking an experienced technician to work with network administrators on server-related issues, including cabling and firmware upgrades, to install upgraded hardware components and ensure connectivity.

You will rack, stack, and cable servers or switches to enable remote access for configuration and validation, and provide hands-on support for ad hoc requests, with inventory audits and component procurement coordination.

Qualifications

• 6-7 years of experience.
• Ability to rack, stack, and cable servers or switches for remote access.
• Hands-on support to network admins for ad hoc requests.
• Coordinate procurement of replacement components and manage return shipments.
• Perform server firmware upgrades and configure IP addresses and credentials.
• Conduct physical inspections and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.

• Perform cabling of the server/network device in accordance with approved wiring diagrams and validate connectivity and operational readiness.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot server issues to identify root causes with help of remote network or sys admins.
• Perform server firmware upgrades and configure server IP addresses and default access credentials.
• Conduct physical inspections and audits to ensure equipment inventory accuracy.

• Coordinate procurement of replacement components, install the parts, and manage return shipment of defective hardware to the respective vendors.

• Perform cabling of the server/network device in accordance with approved wiring diagrams and coordinate with network administrators to validate connectivity and operational readiness.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot server issues to identify and isolate root causes with help of remote network or sys admins.

• Perform server firmware upgrades to ensure systems are running on the latest approved versions. Configure server IP addresses and default access credentials in accordance with standard procedures.

• Conduct physical inspections as requested or audits of servers, components, and consumables to ensure equipment inventory accuracy.

  
  

Annual Base Salary: $104,400
