Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with CAE tools including ANSA/META, Abaqus and Ansys.
• Experience with StarCCM+, IcePak or LS-Dyna is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier-2 simulation infra support for mechanical tools (ANSA/META, Abaqus, Ansys).
• Own the full simulation workflow from CAD prep to CAE analysis and reporting.
• Develop and run simulation models, perform FEA, and automate workflows.
• Support validation and execution of models for structural/mechanical systems.
• Interpret results and provide engineering recommendations for design improvements.
• Lead CAD prep, analysis, and results documentation throughout projects.
• Create and refine simulation methodologies, best practices, and validation procedures.
• Develop automation scripts to improve efficiency and repeatability.

Role/Responsibilities:

• The Tier-2 Simulation Infra Support Engineer provides technical support for Mechanical Simulation tools (ANSA/META, Abaqus, Ansys, etc.)


• The role focuses on strong expertise in the complete simulation workflow, from CAD model preparation to CAE analysis and result interpretation.


• The role involves developing and executing simulation models, performing finite element analysis (FEA), automating simulation workflows, and working closely with product design and engineering teams to improve product performance.


• Support, validate and execute simulation models for structural and mechanical systems. Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA)


• Interpret simulation results and provide engineering recommendations for design improvements.


• Manage the complete simulation workflow from CAD geometry preparation through analysis and reporting.


• Create and support simulation methodologies, best practices, and validation procedures.


• Develop automation scripts and workflows to improve simulation efficiency and repeatability.


• Knowledge of 3D modelling using CAD tools such as NX, Team Center, etc.


• Experience with automation and workflow processes and scripting languages (e.g., Python, numPY).


• Support product design, manufacturing, testing, and systems engineering teams.

Skills Required:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in CAE tools such as ANSA/META, Abaqus, Ansys, etc.


• Experience with CAE tools such as StarCCM+, IcePak, LS-Dyna, COMSOL, etc. is an added advantage.


• Experience with CAD tools such as NX, TeamCenter, etc. is an added advantage.


• Experience in Scripting languages (e.g., Python, numPY) is an added advantage

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range Minimum: $50.38 per hour

Pay Range Maximum: $65.00 per hour

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
